• Salvador Dalí was a fan and used to come see him often and one time brought Pablo Picasso.

• A copy of his single “Lonely Girl” by Eric Mercury & the Soul Searchers is worth almost six thousand dollars in England.

• He was a favorite of Bill Graham so you can find some very cool Fillmore East posters from the 70’s with his name on the bill.

• He grew up with David Clayton-Thomas from Blood, Sweat & Tears and is best friends with Brenda Russell, which is how I have a good relationship with Brenda.

• He was once managed by Robert Stigwood who later went on to have RSO Records that had that little hit record “Saturday Night Fever.”
